Terms of Service

1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of voltexai.app, operated by Voltex Computers Limited (“we”, “us”, “our”), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 04038413, VAT GB753445524). Registered office: The Vicarage, Vicarage Road, Crawley Down, Crawley, England, RH10 4JJ. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. The service
voltexai.app provides a synchronised unified email and calendar workspace, plus related features such as tasks, rules, support, and optional API / agent access. Current plans are Free, Standard, and Pro (mailbox caps 1 / 5 / 20; history defaults to 30 days, adjustable up to the plan maximum on Standard and Pro). See Pricing. We do not host your mailboxes. You connect your own mail and calendar providers; we sync a working copy so you can use the product. By default we fetch Inbox, Drafts, and opted-in folders for 30 days, Sent for 14 days, and Trash and Spam for 7 days. You can deepen those windows in Settings up to your plan maximum. Sync windows do not delete mail in your provider mailbox.
Features may change during closed testing. We may add, modify, or remove functionality as we prepare for public launch.
3. Accounts and sign-in
Accounts are passwordless. You sign in with a one-time code emailed to your address, a passkey, and/or optional Google or Apple sign-in when configured. There is no voltexai.app account password.
- You must provide an accurate email address you control. Completing email OTP verifies that address for the account.
- You are responsible for access to your inbox, passkeys, and linked social accounts. Anyone who can receive your OTP or use your passkey can access your voltexai.app account.
- You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction; the service is aimed at adults and business users.
- One person should not share a single login across an organisation except as we expressly support via workspace features.
4. Connected mailboxes, calendars, and keys
- You must have the right to connect each mailbox, calendar, and API credential you add.
- You are responsible for complying with your providers’ terms (e.g. Google, Microsoft, Apple, hosting IMAP/SMTP providers) and with applicable law when using synced content.
- Mailbox credentials and OAuth tokens are stored encrypted for sync and send. Revoking access or disconnecting a mailbox stops future sync; content we already stored follows the retention rules in the Privacy Policy. Default folder sync windows are 30 days (Inbox, Drafts, and opted-in folders), 14 days (Sent), and 7 days (Trash and Spam), unless you choose a longer window up to your plan maximum.
- Optional BYOK AI uses your provider API key. Usage and billing for those model calls are between you and that provider. Free has a visible monthly action allowance. Standard and Pro BYOK is fair use (an internal anti-abuse backstop, not a published quota).
- Optional VoltexAI Managed AI is a Standard and Pro add-on you switch on in Settings. AI actions then run on Voltex’s provider account, within that add-on’s monthly action allowance. Mail sync and send still use your mail host. Billing for the add-on via Stripe is not live yet; published prices are on Pricing.
5. Acceptable use
You must not:
- abuse, disrupt, or overload the service
- attempt unauthorised access to accounts, systems, or data
- use API keys, MCP, or automations to harm others, spam, or violate provider or legal rules
- probe for vulnerabilities except with our prior written permission
- reverse engineer the service except where applicable law allows
- use the service for unlawful content, harassment, or to process data you have no right to process
We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached or where needed to protect the service or other users.
6. API keys and connected apps
If you create API keys or authorise connected apps, you are responsible for the actions taken with those credentials. Revoke keys and withdraw consents in Settings if access is no longer needed. Shrink-only permission changes and audit logging for API-key actions are described in the product.
7. Intellectual property
We and our licensors own voltexai.app (software, branding, and documentation). You retain rights in your own content and in content that remains at your mail/calendar providers. You grant us a limited licence to host, sync, process, and display content as needed to operate the service for you.
8. Availability and support
We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, especially during closed testing. Sync depends on availability of your providers and network conditions. In-app help and support tickets are available subject to fair use.
9. Fees
New accounts start on Free. Indicative paid prices (including VAT) are published on Pricing: Standard £3.99/month or £39/year; Pro £8.99/month or £89/year. VoltexAI Managed AI is a separate add-on (£3.99/month on Standard, £5.99/month on Pro). Stackable packs are also available: Extra 5 mailboxes on Pro (£2.99/month per pack), and Extra Managed AI (+250 actions at £2.99 on Standard; +500 at £4.49 on Pro). When billing is enabled, Stripe Tax shows the VAT portion on invoices; the headline price is what you pay. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal; upgrades apply immediately once billing exists.
10. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not warrant that sync will capture every message under all provider conditions, or that third-party AI outputs (BYOK or Managed AI) will be accurate or suitable for any purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
11. Liability
Subject to the paragraph above, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data at your provider, or business interruption. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the service in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of (a) the fees you paid us for the service in that period, or (b) £100, if you paid no fees.
12. Suspension, deletion, and termination
You may stop using the service at any time and may request account deletion in Settings (48-hour cancellation window before irreversible erasure — see Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end access for breach, risk, legal reasons, or discontinuation of the service. On discontinuation we will aim to give reasonable notice where practicable.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change on this page. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, except where applicable law requires a different process.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
